What makes our Institute special? PCION is well known for its rigourness and high expectations. Our students are exposed to the skills which are needed to be successful in college and beyond academics .This includes effective problem solving, critical analysis, oral presentations, study skills, time management, awareness of one’s performance, teamwork, persistence and the ability to utilize study groups.

The nursing profession is a noble profession which contributes significantly and dynamically in preventive, promotive and curative aspects of the health sector. Apart from being a highly responsible and dignified profession, this profession demands special skills (keen observation, emergency identification,self therapeutic ,effective communication, technical effectiveness, self stress management and health of team members), 24x7 service, dedication, patience, love and care for sick and injured patients.

The faculty of PCION is committed to develop, promote and impart education to enhance the student’s knowledge, attitude and skills for providing effective and efficient nursing care. They constantly strive to improve education standards of PCION to make it a center of excellence in nursing education.

The college has a state of the art, supportive learning environment with good clinical and library facilities, which attracts both national and international students. Regular co-curricular and extra-curricular activities are planned meticulously and organized by a group of highly motivated faculty.
